Dream of riding an elevator with a cat - dream meaning with inherited lore

A cat enters the elevator with you and stays beside you as the floors change. You may panic because you do not know where to get off, or see the cat press a button first.

Korean lore: Traditionally, a dream of moving up and down with a cat has sometimes been interpreted as a relationship or change in one's circumstances progressing quickly. If the cat seemed comfortable, it may also be seen as showing that you have the instincts to adapt to change. (In folk dream interpretations, spaces that rise and fall are read as movement between social positions or stages of life, while cats symbolize sensitive judgment and changes in relationships.)

Through the mind: You may have this dream before a change whose pace is hard to control through your will alone, such as a department transfer, promotion, move, or progress in a relationship. The scene may also hold a wish to move into an unfamiliar stage with someone by your side.
