Dream of Being Fired by Your Boss - dream meaning with inherited lore
When anxiety at work or the pressure of being judged feels especially strong, it can sometimes appear in a scene like this.
At the company or office, your boss tells you that you’re fired. In the dream, you may panic at the thought of losing your position, or go numb as if you had already expected it.
Korean lore: In traditional dream interpretations, losing your position to a superior has sometimes been read as worry about your current standing or a sign of change. Rather than taking it as proof of actual dismissal, it may be more natural to see it as reflecting tension or change at work. (In folk dream interpretations, a boss is often seen as a figure representing authority and one’s livelihood. Scenes of conflict with a boss or changes in position have therefore sometimes been interpreted in connection with the course of one’s work.)
Through the mind: If you’ve recently been worried about your work performance, contract, or evaluation, that pressure may grow into a dream of being fired. It may also include a wish to let go of your current role.
