Dreaming of Competing with Your Boss - dream meaning with inherited lore

You compete with your boss in a situation with a clear winner, such as work performance, a race, a game, or a test. Sometimes you get ahead; other times, aware of your boss watching, you try hard to catch up.

Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams about competing with a superior have sometimes been interpreted as reflecting a wish to confirm one’s ability and position. Winning the competition may also suggest growing confidence or a stronger desire for recognition. (In folk dream interpretation, contests and competition are often linked to ambition, recognition, and social standing.)

Through the mind: You may recently have felt pressure from being compared with your supervisor or coworkers, or from having to prove your results. It may be less about wanting to defeat your supervisor and more about wanting to confirm your own ability and worth.
