Dreaming that an apartment’s floor number changes - dream meaning with inherited lore

The floor numbers on the elevator display go up and down or suddenly change. You may feel confused because you can’t tell whether you’ve reached the floor you know.

Korean lore: There isn’t a clear tradition of assigning fixed good or bad meanings to a floor number. In traditional interpretations of house dreams, going up or down floors is sometimes read as an image of your place in life or a change, but one dream can’t determine what lies ahead. (There’s no clear, fixed folk interpretation of changing floors, so this draws only on the general idea of moving through a living space as an image of change.)

Through the mind: Confusing signs like these may appear in a dream when you’re unsure where you stand at work or in your living situation. Take a little time to consider whether your goals or schedule have changed often lately.
